Hazardous Materials Advisor Requalification Course (HMAR)
Nov 25 @ 9:00 am – Nov 29 @ 5:00 pm
Hazardous Materials Advisor Requalification Course (HMAR)

This refresher course gives a concentrated and thorough update of all the major aspects of the role of  a Hazardous Materials Advisor. The course includes an optional 5th day – RPS qualification.

The training enables delegates to recollect and refine their systematic approach to dealing with all Hazmat incidents ensuring that the safety measures are in place and risks minimised.

The handling of commonly-encountered substances such as asbestos is reviewed to give an essential grounding in procedures of dealing with these substances in the field.

Exposure and contamination are key issues in the Hazmat industry and the course includes an overview of the different Personal Protective Equipment available, enabling delegates to gain confidence in PPE selection and decontamination options when it matters the most.

The Hazardous Materials Advisor Refresher training course is accredited by the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE); The only regulated Awarding Organisation in the UK that specialises entirely in the fire sector.

Our training facilities provide all-weather training and realistic interactive scenarios to provide close-to-incident conditions.

The course is structured in a way that sees delegates progress through each section, building on their skills and knowledge to deal with more complex scenarios as they progress.

The booking is secured on the receipt of a Purchase Order. To enquire about the course email info@tacticalhazmat.com or call +44 (0)1386 257999 and one of our account managers will contact you shortly.
